Gian Carlo Milanese is a Ph.D. student at the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca / Department of Informatics, Systems, and Communication (DISCo) in Milan, under the supervision of Prof. Gabriella Pasi.
He finished his Master in Logic (ILLC, University of Amsterdam) in 2018 with a thesis on the modal mu-calculus supervised by Prof. Yde Venema. He then attended the Master in Data Science (Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca) before starting his Ph.D. in Computer Science in November 2020.
He is interested in the application of fuzzy set theory and logic in knowledge representation and approximate reasoning.
